This Isn’t Theory. This Is Our Business Model.

We don’t teach aircraft leasing — we operate it.

Zach Purvis and Aviation Ape actively own and manage aircraft leased to flight schools and flying clubs nationwide. This is the same model used to acquire, place, and oversee aircraft on behalf of our clients.

We handle the entire process, including:

  • Aircraft acquisition

  • Pre-buy inspections and due diligence

  • Financing coordination (when applicable)

  • Lease placement with vetted operators

  • Ongoing oversight and asset management

Clients benefit from:

  • Cash-flowing lease revenue

  • 100% bonus depreciation (when applicable)

  • Zero day-to-day operational involvement

This Is a Physical Aircraft Dealership — Not Remote Brokerage

Aviation Ape operates as an on-site aircraft dealership, not a remote listing service.

All consignment aircraft are physically delivered to and sold from our facility. Aircraft are professionally presented, actively marketed, and shown only to qualified buyers in a controlled environment.

This model creates urgency, trust, and a cleaner buyer experience — which leads to faster sales and stronger outcomes.

If an aircraft cannot be relocated to our facility, it is not a fit for this program.

How On-Site Aircraft Consignment Works

Seller Qualification & Reserve Agreement

We confirm the aircraft is market-ready and agree on a net reserve price.

Aircraft Delivery to Our Facility

The aircraft is based on-site and integrated into our active sales inventory.

Professional Marketing & Exposure

Photography, listings, direct buyer outreach, and promotion through Aviation Ape’s network.

Buyer Handling & Negotiation

All inquiries, showings, and negotiations are handled by our team.

Closing & Delivery

Purchase agreement coordination, escrow, FAA paperwork, and final delivery suppor

Why Physical Location Matters

  1. Buyers can see, inspect, and evaluate the aircraft in person

  2. Showings occur in a professional, controlled environment

  3. The aircraft benefits from being part of an active dealership inventory

  4. Sellers are removed from logistics, scheduling, and tire-kickers

This is how aircraft are sold efficiently — and correctly.

Consignment Terms & Incentives

How It Works:

  1. A guaranteed net reserve price is agreed upon with the seller

  2. The seller receives the full reserve amount

  3. Any proceeds above the reserve are Aviation Ape’s commission

Example:

Seller reserve

$525,000

Sale price

$560,000

Aviation Ape commission

$35,000

No percentage-based commissions

No misaligned incentives.

We win only if we outperform.
